2015 was my second year taking part in the Inktober challenge which is getting bigger and bigger every year. It was a much busier year for me so cranking out a piece each day was extra difficult, but I allowed myself to bend the rules a bit. I maintained a small format for these to cut down on time spent, and used ink, graphite, white gouache and a touch of color in a few of them. I looked at it more as a learning opportunity to play with other media instead of just focusing purely on ink.
I felt like I got to a bit of a slow start, but once the routine fell into place I was happy with the body of work overall and am happy I finally purchased some graphite powder!
